Future Nepal, the new District ICS Network Coordinator for Makawanpur district, organized first network meeting in on 25 November 2008. The representatives from various government organizations and non-government organizations working on development sector participated in the network formation meeting.
Mr. Ram Chandra Subedi, Chairman of Future Nepal presented about the status of Biomass Program carried out by the organization in Makawanpur. Ms. Pratikshya Pradhan, Program Officer of CRT/N, gave introduction of CRT/N, ARECOP and National ICS Network and its working modality. The meeting concluded with the decision on formation of ICS Network and bringing like minded organizations in network so as to carry out different activities on biomass technology in Makawanpur district.
