National ICS Network managed by CRT/N organized a three-day intensive Stove Performance Test Training from 17-19 November 2008 with support from ARECOP. Ten field technical coordinators from six different organizations working with National Biomass Program of AEPC/ESAP participated in the training. The main objective of the training was to aware the participants about stove testing protocols and provide practical knowledge on standard stove testing methodologies. Mr. Sandeep Joshi, Engineer of CRT/N and Mr. Rojan Pandey, Research Officer of ESAP were the lead trainers. During the training, practical sessions on stove testing were also conducted at three different households of Kabhrepalanchok district. Mr. Sandeep Joshi imparted the knowledge acquired during “Advanced Training on ICS Performance Test and Monitoring” organized by ARECOP from 6-14 June 2008 at Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
