In response to the need and development of improved cook stove, and also the present trends in biomass energy sector, ARECOP in collaboration with Partnership for Clean Indoor Air (PCIA) and Approvecho conducted “Advanced Training on ICS Performance Test and Monitoring” to technical experts from ARECOP focused countries on 6-14 June 2008 at Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The training was facilitated by ARECOP. The advanced training was a means for the technical expert to be able to adopt stove testing protocol, benchmark on ICS and enrich their knowledge on heat transfer and combustion. Mr. Sandeep Joshi, Engineer, represented CRT/N in the training program.
