Renewable Energy, Environment and Solidarity Group (GERES), Cambodia and ARECOP, Indonesia organized the Carbon Solidarity Asia Foundation workshop from 25-26 April 2008 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The proposed Carbon Solidarity Asia is a cooperative vision that aims to become a capacity- and linkage-building platform for project developers involved in the fight against poverty. The proposed network expects to help members in increasing flow of funding into projects that reduce greenhouse gas emission through carbon finance and contribute to improve the livelihoods of millions of people. Representing CRT/N, Mr. Nanda Ram Baidya and Ms. Pratikshya Pradhan participated in the workshop.
