The ICS Dispatch and 'Chulo' Newsletter are ICS-based Information and
Promotional Materials. These are produced with the objective of disseminating
ICS-related information and/or news to the member organizations' staff, the ICS
promoters and users, potential promoters and users, and all those interested.
The members are requested to be submit their articles for these publications.
Publication of quarterly ICS Dispatch
The dispatch is distributed to the network members, other concerned organizations/institution as well as ARECOP Secretariat and other Country Contact Point (CCPs) of ARECOP. It is chiefly targeted towards the National and International Development Agencies. It primarily comprises recent news and activities undertaken by the ICS Network and member organizations in Nepal. It is published in English.
Publication of half yearly "Chulo Wall Newsletter"
The 'Chulo Wall Newsletter" is published in the Nepali Language. It incorporates articles, case studies, poems and songs as well as technical information on various models of ICS. It is distributed at the national level to network members , program districts of National ICS Program and partner agencies as well as at the district level organizations and community level to promoters and group leaders/members. It has proven very popular at the grassroots level. The technical section is very popular as the readers get an opportunity to learn about new models of ICS used at the national as well as international level in each issue.
The program also distributes 'Glow' and 'Letter from the Secretariat', two international publications to the ICS Network Members.
Production of Video
Manual
ICS Network had prepared a video documentary on ICS. The documentary covered different aspects of ICS such as construction, operation and maintenance, kitchen management, health aspect etc. The documentary will be used as information material for ICS program implementers and field level staff of Network members as well as ICS Promoters and users in Phase III.
